Horsemanship isn’t something I learned later in life—it’s something I was born into.

I grew up in the saddle alongside my grandfather, an endurance champion and horse logger whose life revolved around horses, hard work, and the land. From the very beginning, he taught me what it means to truly understand a horse—how to listen, how to lead, and how to move through the world with quiet confidence.

Together, we guided riders through some of Southern Oregon’s most beautiful and rugged country—from overnight camps in the Marble Mountains to the windswept beaches of Pistol River, and countless miles of mountain trails in between. He led large groups with steady hands and deep knowledge, and I was right there with him, learning every step of the way.

By the time I was a child, I was already guiding rides myself. Horses weren’t just part of my life—they were how I experienced the world. I even rode my horse to church on Sundays.

Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy forward.

With over 30 years of experience riding these same mountains, I now guide others through the landscapes that shaped me. Every ride is rooted in generations of horsemanship, respect for the land, and a genuine love for sharing this way of life with others. Your safety, comfort, and connection with the horse are always my top priorities.

This isn’t just a trail ride—it’s a piece of a story that started long before me, and one I’m honored to continue.
